Ms. Gentry is a National Legal Search Consultant for Abstone Lalley DeNio, Inc. She works directly with attorneys to advise and assist them with their long-term career planning and development, and to aid them in finding the best employer for their skill set, abilities, and professional and personal goals. She also advises candidates on hiring and salary trends, and developments in specific areas of the legal market. Ms. Gentry’s recruiting philosophy has always been to help candidates find the optimal long-term fit for their career goals.

Ms. Gentry began her career as a practicing attorney at two Chicago law firms in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance litigation. After four years of practice, she transitioned to the consulting world and worked for seven years at a prominent Chicago search and consulting firm in both the direct hire and temporary legal market.

She received her Bachelor of General Studies in Human Biology from The University of Kansas and her Juris Doctor from The University of Kansas School of Law.
