CHICAGO – August 25, 2015 – AbstoneLalley, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Washington, D.C. The fast growing, minority-owned and managed legal and corporate consulting firm, adds its fourth location to current offices in Chicago, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

AbstoneLalley’s Washington, D.C. office is led by Cheryl Kettler, Esq., National Partner Specialist and Bennett Lowenthal, International Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor, who relocated from the Chicago office to form the company’s new office in D.C. The Washington office will benefit from their combined expertise and extensive knowledge of the D.C. legal and government communities.

Cheryl Kettler, National Partner Specialist – Lateral Acquisition of Partners and Practice Groups, has been a practicing lawyer for nearly 30 years. She began her legal career as a Washington, D.C. lawyer, and then moved to Chicago where she practiced at prominent firms, eventually becoming a shareholder. She also served as an adjunct professor at Roosevelt University and DePaul University’s College of Law in Chicago. In addition to her role with AbstoneLalley, Cheryl is currently a visiting professor at The George Washington University Law School.

Bennett Lowenthal, International Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor, is a former Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. He has developed an extensive network, ranging from overseas business professionals and Washington, D.C. insiders to U.S. diplomatic and consular officials and foreign journalists. Bennett’s practical experience navigating this network and 23-year career as a diplomat for the U.S. government allows him to serve as a trusted advisor to AbstoneLalley’s clients.
