Susan Marlow is a strategic HR executive with global career experience in all HR functional areas. Throughout her career, she has directed the strategic planning and oversight of talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, HRIS, and compliance functions. She is currently the Chief People Officer of HR at Mainsail Lodging & Development.
Her career began in talent acquisition at Accenture. She spent more than 13 years hiring all levels from entry level through C-Suite and held the Director of Recruiting role for the Florida Practice. Ms. Marlow has held several roles in recruiting leadership for global SaaS and consulting companies throughout her career and specializes in creating custom solutions that achieve an ideal design for future state. Ms. Marlow has implemented applicant tracking systems, human capital management systems, and designed hundreds of processes for optimizing candidate and employee experiences.
Ms. Marlow has held leadership roles in HR, focusing on talent management, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, DE&I, onboarding, global communications and change management. She has worked for global, private, non-profit, and publicly-traded companies across multiple industries. She has designed compensation plans, benefits packages, and total rewards strategies to attract and retain talent at all levels of the organization.
Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and holds her SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
In 2019, Susan received the Tampa Bay Business Journal People First Award that honors the exceptional work HR professionals perform at Tampa Bay area companies.
